The band was formed by twin brothers Ray (Bass) and Brandon Carlisle (Drums). Their music is heavily influenced by Kody's (Singer, Guitarist) other band, The Lillingtons, and earlier pop punk acts such as the Ramones, Screeching Weasel, and the Groovie Ghoulies.
