Beautiful experimental, yet only slightly strange, guitar/synth pop. I mean strange in a good way, without sounding forced or pretentious. They seem to have an appreciation for the macabre as can be witnessed in their lyrics, fascination with skeletons, album artwork, etc.

BlackSwan
The band Black Swan officially formed in the spring of 2006 when Jon Van Patten, former drummer of the band Utica, moved back to Tulsa from Dallas and united with members Sam Alexander (guitar/vocals), Wes Johnson (bass), Joe Page (keys/synth), and Jeremy Louis (guitar/vocals), who were already playing together and searching for a drummer.
